VOLLEYBALL (BOYS)

Clementi Town Secondary School’s Volleyball team has a proud tradition of excellence at inter-school competitions. Through the programme, students undergo rigorous training sessions, friendly matches and local competitions so as to enhance their skills, as well as, knowledge of the sport. The programme also hopes to instill and develop the values of discipline, perseverance and teamwork in the players during their time at Clementi Town Secondary School.

 

Through the strong support of the teachers, coaches, alumni, as well as the commitment displayed by our players, we are proud to share the following achievements attained by the team in the National School Games since 2011.

In this Direct School Admission Exercise, we are looking for promising Primary 6 pupils (boys) who should preferably exhibit the following: 

  • Very Good Conduct    
  • Good physical fitness (obtained at least a Bronze award for the NAPFA Test) 
  • Past representation and achievement in Volleyball for the Zonal and/or National levels of the Inter-School Competition 

 

Successful applicants will join CTSS in January 2020. Students will also be assessed on both their demonstrated and potential ability, as well as personal qualities, so as to ensure that they benefit from the rigorous curriculum offered at CTSS. Shortlisted applicants will have to undergo a selection trial consisting of the following:

  • Physical ability assessment
  • Game play assessment
  • Interview




Wushu (Mixed)

Clementi Town Wushu welcomes students with outstanding talent in the sport to apply through the DSA exercise.  Since its inception, the Clementi Town Secondary School Wushu team has been trailblazing its approach to developing wushu exponents and have achieved the following results in this year’s National School Games.

Shortlisted applicants will have to undergo a selection trial consisting of the following:

  • Replicating a simple Wushu routine
  • Interview



Netball (Girls)


The Clementi Town Secondary School Netball Team aims to develop our students’ sporting talent and passion for the sport through rigorous training sessions, friendly matches and various inter-school competitions. In addition, we also want to instill in them the values of discipline, hard work and teamwork that are crucial in the area of character building.

 

Our team has a good track record in inter-school competitions such as the West Zone Interschool Netball Championship and M1 Schools Challenge League. 

 

In this Direct School Admission Exercise, we are looking for promising Primary 6 pupils who exhibit the following:

  • Very good conduct
  • Good physical fitness (having obtained at least a Bronze award for the NAPFA Test)
  • Possess interest and passion for Netball

 

Successful applicants will join CTSS in January 2020. Students will also be assessed on both their demonstrated and potential ability, as well as personal qualities, so as to ensure that they benefit from the rigorous curriculum offered at CTSS. Shortlisted applicants will have to undergo a selection trial consisting of the following:
